Every Lonestar Doodles puppy comes with thoughtful preparation, health protections, and a connection to our family that doesn’t end on pickup day.
What’s included
Everything Your Puppy Comes Home With
Microchipped
Your puppy is microchipped before going home so an important layer of identification is already in place.
Dewormed & Vaccinated
Puppies go home dewormed and current on age-appropriate vaccinations.
30 Days of Trupanion Pet Insurance
You’ll receive a certificate for 30 days of Trupanion pet insurance to help protect your puppy during those important first weeks at home.
A Little Piece of Home
Every puppy goes home with a lovey carrying the scent of mom and littermates to help make the transition to a new home a little easier.
Raised With Our Family
Our puppies are handled, loved, played with, and socialized as part of our everyday family life before they become part of yours.
A Health Guarantee
We stand behind our puppies with coverage for 24 months for severe hip and elbow dysplasia. Your agreement also covers qualifying life-threatening hereditary defects and death from a congenital defect.

Bringing home a Lonestar Doodle means joining a community of families who continue sharing photos, questions, advice, milestones, and plenty of doodle stories long after puppy pickup.

Health protection
What Our Health Guarantee Covers
The First 72 Hours
Your puppy must be examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of coming home. This visit is required to keep your health warranty in place.
During this initial period, our health warranty protects against death from fatal viruses identified in our agreement, including parvovirus and distemper.
The First 30 Days
Every puppy goes home with a certificate for 30 days of Trupanion pet insurance.
There is one important step: activate the certificate within 24 hours of pickup. Your warranties and guarantees stay in effect only if it’s activated in time.
We make this clear because we don’t want any family to miss a protection that’s already available to them.
Through 24 Months
Our health guarantee covers qualifying hereditary conditions. Your puppy agreement sets out the covered conditions and what a diagnosis has to show.
If a covered condition is confirmed, we’ll work with you according to the terms of your puppy’s health guarantee.
When you get home
Two Important Things to Do
Schedule Your Puppy’s First Vet Visit
Have your puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of pickup.
Activate Your Trupanion Certificate
Activate the complimentary 30-day insurance certificate within 24 hours of pickup.

Your puppy agreement also includes care guidelines designed to protect your puppy and keep the health guarantee in effect, including vaccinations, nutrition, parasite prevention, public exposure while your puppy is young, and spay or neuter timing.
We’ll make sure you have those details before your puppy comes home, and we’re always happy to answer questions.

A health guarantee can have an expiration date.
Our responsibility to the dogs we raise doesn’t.
If circumstances ever change and you can no longer care for your Lonestar Doodle, contact us first. We will assist with rehoming one of our dogs at any age. No refund is given on returned dogs.
We never want a Lonestar Doodle to end up in a shelter or rescue.
That commitment has been part of how we raise our puppies from the beginning, and it will continue for as long as we raise them.
