We want every family to be able to find their puppy with ease. Here is how we approach accessibility, and how to reach us if something is in your way.
Our commitment
Lonestar Doodles is committed to making our website usable and welcoming for everyone, including people with disabilities. Accessibility is part of treating every family the way we would want to be treated.
Conformance status
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the widely recognized standard for web accessibility. We have built and tested this site with those guidelines in mind and continue to work toward full conformance.
What we have done
Across the site we use clear heading structure, text and background colors that meet AA contrast levels, keyboard navigation with a visible focus outline, descriptive alternative text on meaningful images, labeled form fields that support autofill, comfortable touch targets on mobile, and layouts that adapt to phones and tablets. We also respect the reduced-motion setting for visitors who prefer less movement.
An ongoing effort
Accessibility is not a one-time task. We review new pages and features as we add them, and we fix issues as we find them.
